Responsibilities
- Lead design and analysis of complex civil infrastructure projects including highways, drainage systems, and structural foundations
- Oversee project lifecycle from conception through construction, ensuring compliance with local regulations (TCEQ) and industry standards
- Manage BIM/CAD workflows using Auto Civil 3D and Revit to create precise engineering documentation
- Conduct site investigations, feasibility studies, and risk assessments for large-scale developments
- Mentor junior engineers and coordinate multidisciplinary teams including architects and contractors
- Prepare cost estimates, schedules, and technical reports for client presentations
- Ensure sustainable design principles are integrated into all project deliverables
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from ABET-accredited institution
- Minimum 8 years of progressive experience in civil infrastructure design
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in Texas (or ability to obtain within 6 months)
- Expert proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit, and structural analysis software
- Proven track record leading projects >$50M in value
- Familiarity with TxDOT and Harris County infrastructure requirements
- Strong project management skills with PMP certification preferred
- Experience with LEED certification and sustainable design practices
