Responsibilities
- Lead design and implementation of high-voltage power distribution systems for commercial-scale projects
- Develop circuit simulations and perform load analysis using MATLAB/Simulink and ETAP
- Coordinate with MEP teams to integrate electrical systems with building automation
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct technical reviews of design documentation
- Ensure compliance with NFPA 70E, IEEE 1584, and local electrical codes
- Research emerging technologies in power electronics and smart grid integration
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (Master's preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in power systems design or industrial electrical engineering
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical and PLC programming (Siemens/Rockwell)
- Experience with renewable energy integration and microgrid systems
- Strong analytical skills with ability to troubleshoot complex electrical issues
- Excellent project management skills and experience with budget oversight
