Responsibilities
- Lead design and development of high-voltage power systems for industrial IoT devices
- Perform schematic capture and PCB layout using Altium Designer for complex multi-layer boards
- Conduct electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) testing and ensure regulatory compliance (FCC/CE)
- Mentor junior engineers through technical reviews and design methodology training
- Collaborate with firmware teams on embedded system integration and validation
- Optimize power consumption and thermal management for battery-operated products
- Research emerging semiconductor technologies and propose innovative solutions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (Master's preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in power electronics and PCB design
- Proficiency in Altium Designer and MATLAB/Simulink
- Expert knowledge of EMC/EMI mitigation techniques
- Experience leading NPI (New Product Introduction) projects
- Strong analytical skills with FMEA and DFMEA methodologies
- Proven ability to mentor and develop engineering talent
- Active Professional Engineer (PE) license required
