Responsibilities
- Design and optimize electrical systems for solar microgrid projects using ETAP and AutoCAD
- Lead development of embedded firmware for smart grid communication protocols
- Conduct power quality analysis and harmonic distortion mitigation for industrial clients
- Mentor junior engineers through design reviews and technical documentation
- Ensure compliance with IEEE 1547 and NEC standards for safety certification
- Collaborate with mechanical teams on thermal management solutions for power electronics
- Present technical findings to C-suite executives and external stakeholders
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with 5+ years of relevant experience
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or EIT certification required
- Expertise in MATLAB/Simulink for power system modeling and simulation
- Proven experience with Altium Designer for PCB layout and signal integrity
- Familiarity with LabVIEW for automated testing of electrical components
- Strong background in three-phase power systems and transformer design
- Demonstrated project management skills using Agile methodologies
- Ability to travel up to 15% for client site assessments
