Responsibilities
- Design and optimize electrical systems for renewable energy projects including solar inverters and battery management systems
- Lead PCB layout and schematic development for IoT hardware platforms using Altium Designer
- Perform signal integrity analysis and EMI/EMC compliance testing for embedded systems
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct technical reviews of design documentation
- Collaborate with firmware teams to develop hardware-software integration protocols
- Research emerging power electronics technologies and implement cost-effective solutions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (Master's preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in power electronics and PCB design for commercial products
- Proficiency in Altium Designer, MATLAB/Simulink, and SPICE simulation tools
- Certification in functional safety (ISO 26262) or power quality standards (IEEE 519)
- Demonstrated success in bringing hardware products from concept to production
- Strong analytical skills with experience in thermal management and reliability testing
