Responsibilities
- Design and oversee complex infrastructure projects including bridges, roadways, and water treatment facilities
- Lead project teams through all phases from feasibility studies to final construction documentation
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations (TCEQ, FHWA, OSHA)
- Conduct site inspections, analyze geotechnical data, and resolve construction challenges
- Utilize BIM/CAD technologies for precision modeling and clash detection
- Manage project budgets, schedules, and stakeholder communications
- Mentor junior engineers and foster technical excellence within the team
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field (MS preferred)
- 8+ years of progressive experience in civil infrastructure design
- PE license in Texas or ability to obtain within 6 months
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit, and hydraulic modeling software
- Demonstrated success in managing projects over $5M
- Strong knowledge of TCEQ permitting processes and environmental regulations
- Experience with sustainable design practices (LEED certification a plus)
- Excellent problem-solving and client management skills
