Responsibilities
- Lead design and execution of complex civil infrastructure projects including MRT extensions and waterfront developments
- Conduct structural analysis and geotechnical investigations for large-scale urban projects
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams of architects, environmental consultants, and contractors
- Ensure compliance with Singapore's Building Construction Authority (BCA) regulations and sustainability standards
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation using BIM technologies
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct technical reviews of design documentation
- Identify innovative solutions for geotechnical challenges in Singapore's soil conditions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from accredited institution (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 8 years of experience in Singapore's construction sector
- Professional Engineer (PE) registration with the Board of Engineers Singapore
- Expertise in structural design software (STAAD.Pro, ETABS) and geotechnical modeling
- Proven track record of managing projects exceeding S$50M in value
- Strong knowledge of Singapore's building codes and Land Transport Authority requirements
- Certification in sustainable construction (e.g., BCA Green Mark)
- Excellent communication skills with fluency in English
