Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced reservoir simulation models to optimize production strategies
- Lead cross-functional teams in drilling program optimization and well completion design
- Conduct economic analysis and reserves evaluation for development projects
- Develop innovative solutions for enhanced oil recovery (EOR) techniques
- Ensure compliance with HSE regulations and industry best practices
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical knowledge transfer
- Collaborate with geoscience teams to integrate subsurface data into engineering models
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 8+ years of upstream oil & gas engineering experience
- Expertise in reservoir simulation software (e.g., Eclipse, Petrel)
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in production optimization
- Proven track record in unconventional plays (shale, tight formations)
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required
- Demonstrated project leadership in complex drilling/completion operations
- Excellent problem-solving abilities for field challenges
