Responsibilities
- Design and optimize drilling programs for unconventional reservoirs using advanced simulation software
- Analyze production data to enhance hydrocarbon recovery rates and operational efficiency
- Lead cross-functional teams in implementing AI-driven reservoir monitoring systems
- Develop innovative solutions for reducing carbon emissions in extraction processes
- Prepare detailed engineering reports and regulatory compliance documentation
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct technical training sessions
- Collaborate with geoscientists on seismic interpretation and field development plans
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field (Master's preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in upstream oil & gas operations
- Expert proficiency in reservoir simulation tools (e.g., Petrel, Eclipse)
- Proven track record in horizontal drilling and hydraulic fracturing optimization
- Strong knowledge of SPE standards and regulatory frameworks
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required
- Experience with digital oilfield technologies and IoT integration
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and project management capabilities
