Responsibilities
- Design and develop complex electrical systems including PCB layouts, power distribution, and embedded firmware
- Lead electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) testing and compliance for aerospace applications
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct technical reviews for design validation
- Collaborate with mechanical teams on integrated system architecture and component selection
- Document technical specifications and create comprehensive project documentation
- Research and implement emerging technologies in power electronics and IoT connectivity
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in aerospace or high-reliability electrical systems
- Proficiency in Altium Designer, Cadence Allegro, or equivalent EDA tools
- Strong knowledge of IEEE 1547, DO-160, and FAA certification standards
- Expertise in signal integrity analysis and high-speed digital design
- Certification in Six Sigma or PMP highly desirable
- Strong problem-solving skills with systematic troubleshooting approach
