Responsibilities
- Design and optimize PCB layouts for high-voltage power systems using Altium Designer
- Lead hardware integration testing for embedded control systems in robotics applications
- Develop thermal management solutions for power electronics assemblies
- Collaborate with firmware engineers to ensure seamless hardware-software interfaces
- Conduct failure analysis and root cause investigations for production issues
- Mentor junior engineers while maintaining compliance with ISO 13485 standards
- Present technical findings to stakeholders and contribute to patent applications
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in power electronics design for industrial applications
- Proficiency in SPICE simulation and MATLAB/Simulink for circuit modeling
- Hands-on experience with EMC/EMI compliance testing and mitigation
- Strong knowledge of safety standards (UL 60950, IEC 62368)
- Demonstrated success in bringing complex hardware products from concept to production
- Excellent problem-solving skills with systematic troubleshooting methodology
- Experience leading cross-functional engineering projects in agile environments
