Responsibilities
- Design and oversee complex infrastructure projects including highways, bridges, and water treatment systems
- Lead multidisciplinary teams through project lifecycle from conception to completion
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal engineering standards
- Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies for new developments
- Develop cost estimates and project timelines while managing budgets
- Utilize BIM software for 3D modeling and clash detection
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct quality control reviews
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field (Master's preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in civil engineering with 3+ in leadership roles
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit, and structural analysis software
- Demonstrated experience with large-scale infrastructure projects
- Strong knowledge of TxDOT standards and permitting processes
- Excellent project management and stakeholder communication skills
- LEED AP certification highly desirable
