Responsibilities
- Design and implement electrical systems for renewable energy projects including solar inverters and battery management systems
- Lead PCB layout and schematic design using Altium Designer and Cadence tools
- Conduct power analysis, thermal modeling, and EMC/EMI compliance testing
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct design reviews to maintain quality standards
- Collaborate with firmware teams to integrate hardware-software interfaces
- Document technical specifications and create detailed test procedures
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with 5+ years of relevant experience
- Expertise in power electronics, motor drives, and energy storage systems
- Proficiency in CAD tools (Altium, Cadence) and simulation software (PSpice, MATLAB)
- Strong understanding of NEC, IEC, and IEEE standards
- Experience with renewable energy systems and grid-tied inverters
- Proven project leadership with successful product launches
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred
