Responsibilities
- Lead the design, prototyping, and testing of high-voltage electrical systems for renewable energy infrastructure
- Develop and optimize PCB layouts using Altium Designer and AutoCAD for industrial control systems
- Analyze power distribution networks and implement energy-efficient solutions
- Collaborate with firmware engineers to integrate embedded systems with electrical hardware
- Ensure compliance with IEEE, NEC, and IEC standards for safety and performance
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct technical reviews of design documentation
- Research emerging electrical technologies and propose innovative solutions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in power systems design or renewable energy engineering
- Proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink for circuit simulation and analysis
- Expertise in PCB design, including high-frequency and high-power applications
- Strong knowledge of three-phase systems, inverters, and battery management systems
- Certification in P.E. (Professional Engineer) or equivalent experience
- Demonstrated experience with embedded C/C++ for firmware-hardware integration
- Proven ability to manage projects from concept to production deployment
