Responsibilities
- Lead design and development of high-voltage power electronics systems for EV charging infrastructure
- Perform schematic capture, PCB layout, and validation testing of complex electrical assemblies
- Collaborate with mechanical teams on thermal management and electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) solutions
- Develop firmware interfaces for embedded control systems using C/C++ and RTOS platforms
- Conduct failure analysis and root cause investigations for production and field issues
- Mentor junior engineers and drive continuous improvement in engineering processes
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering with 8+ years of relevant experience
- Expertise in power electronics (inverters, converters, battery management systems)
- Proficiency in Altium Designer, Cadence Allegro, or similar EDA tools
- Strong background in embedded systems programming (ARM Cortex-M, STM32)
- Experience with high-voltage (>600V) and high-current (>100A) design
- Knowledge of automotive standards (ISO 26262) and functional safety principles
- Proven track record of bringing products from concept to mass production
