Responsibilities
- Lead design and implementation of high-voltage electrical systems for commercial solar farms
- Conduct power system analysis using ETAP and PSS/E software
- Collaborate with mechanical teams on hybrid energy storage solutions
- Mentor junior engineers and review technical documentation
- Ensure compliance with IEEE 1547 and NEC standards
- Develop SCADA system architectures for remote monitoring
- Present technical solutions to C-suite stakeholders
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (Master's preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in power systems or renewable energy
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical and MATLAB/Simulink
- Experience with HVDC transmission projects
- Strong knowledge of three-phase power systems
- Proven project management using Agile methodologies
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
