Responsibilities
- Design and validate high-power electronic systems for EV fast-charging stations
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing grid-tied inverters and energy storage systems
- Perform thermal analysis and reliability testing of power components
- Mentor junior engineers through design reviews and technical documentation
- Collaborate with firmware teams on embedded control systems
- Ensure compliance with UL 1741, IEEE 1547, and international safety standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (MS preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in power electronics design
- Expertise in SiC/GaN semiconductor applications
- Proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink and PSpice simulation tools
- Strong background in EMI/EMC compliance and thermal management
- Experience leading projects from concept to production
- Certification in IEEE 1541 or UL standards (highly desirable)
