Responsibilities
- Lead design and validation of high-voltage electrical systems for solar inverters and energy storage solutions
- Develop PCB schematics and perform SPICE simulations for power electronics circuits
- Collaborate with mechanical engineers on thermal management and enclosure design
- Conduct EMC/EMI testing and compliance documentation for UL/IEC standards
- Mentor junior engineers and drive continuous improvement in design methodologies
- Analyze field failure data and implement design modifications for reliability
- Present technical solutions to stakeholders and industry conferences
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in power electronics design and validation
- Proficiency in Altium Designer, Cadence Allegro, and MATLAB/Simulink
- Expertise in semiconductor device characterization and thermal modeling
- Familiarity with ISO 26262 functional safety requirements
- Strong analytical skills with hands-on lab testing experience
- Proven ability to manage complex projects from concept to production
- Excellent communication skills with cross-cultural team experience
