Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize power electronics systems for solar inverters and energy storage solutions
- Lead cross-functional teams in translating requirements into robust hardware specifications
- Conduct detailed simulations and prototyping using SPICE and MATLAB/Simulink
- Validate designs through rigorous testing and compliance with UL 1741 and IEEE standards
- Mentor junior engineers and drive continuous improvement in design methodologies
- Collaborate with firmware teams to ensure seamless hardware-software integration
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering with 5+ years of relevant experience
- Expertise in power electronics, analog circuit design, and PCB layout for high-voltage systems
- Proficiency in simulation tools (SPICE, PLECS) and measurement equipment (oscilloscopes, network analyzers)
- Experience with safety standards (UL, IEC) and EMI/EMC compliance
- Strong problem-solving skills with systematic troubleshooting methodologies
- Excellent communication abilities for technical documentation and stakeholder presentations
- Preferred: Experience with renewable energy systems or battery management systems
