Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end design of high-voltage power distribution systems for commercial and industrial applications
- Develop and implement embedded firmware for smart grid communication protocols
- Conduct electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) testing and compliance validation
- Mentor junior engineers through design reviews and technical documentation
- Optimize PCB layouts for high-efficiency power conversion systems
- Collaborate with mechanical teams on thermal management solutions
- Research emerging power electronics technologies and industry trends
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (Master's preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in power electronics design and validation
- Expertise in MATLAB/Simulink and SPICE simulation tools
- Certification in IEC 62368 or similar safety standards
- Proven track record with high-voltage (>10kV) system integration
- Strong proficiency in Altium Designer or Cadence Allegro
- Experience leading technical teams in agile development environments
