Responsibilities
- Design and develop high-voltage power distribution systems for renewable energy applications
- Create PCB layouts and schematics using Altium Designer for IoT sensor networks
- Lead firmware integration for embedded control systems in industrial automation
- Perform electromagnetic interference (EMI) testing and compliance validation
- Mentor junior engineers through design reviews and technical documentation
- Optimize system efficiency using MATLAB/Simulink modeling tools
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on product lifecycle management
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's in Electrical Engineering from ABET-accredited institution
- 8+ years of experience in power electronics or industrial automation
- Proficiency with CAD tools (AutoCAD Electrical) and simulation software
- Strong understanding of IEEE standards (e.g., 1584, 519)
- Experience with 3-phase systems and grid-tied inverters
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required
- Proven track record in hardware bring-up and validation
- Knowledge of safety-critical system design (ISO 13849)
