Responsibilities
- Lead design, development, and validation of complex electrical systems for consumer electronics and industrial applications
- Conduct power system analysis, PCB layout optimization, and EMI/EMC compliance testing
- Mentor junior engineers through design reviews, code standards, and best practices implementation
- Collaborate with software teams on firmware-hardware integration and embedded system architecture
- Research emerging technologies (e.g., GaN semiconductors, wireless power transfer) for competitive advantage
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and vendor relationships for critical components
- Prepare technical documentation, patents, and regulatory compliance reports
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (Master's preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in high-volume electronics product development
- Expertise in Altium Designer, Cadence Allegro, and MATLAB/Simulink
- Proven track record with power electronics (AC/DC, motor drives, battery systems)
- Strong analytical skills for signal integrity, thermal management, and failure analysis
- Experience leading cross-functional teams through Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain within 6 months
- Knowledge of ISO 13485/62304 for medical device development (highly desirable)
