Responsibilities
- Design and optimize high-power DC-DC converters for EV fast-charging stations
- Develop embedded control systems using C/C++ for real-time power management
- Create detailed schematics and PCB layouts using Altium Designer
- Lead thermal management analysis and reliability testing of power electronics
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct design reviews
- Collaborate with mechanical teams on enclosure design and EMI shielding
Qualifications
- B.S. in Electrical Engineering with 5+ years of power electronics experience
- Expertise in SiC/GaN semiconductor design and characterization
- Proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink for power system simulation
- Familiarity with ISO 26262 functional safety standards
- Strong analytical skills for failure mode analysis
- Experience with high-voltage systems (600V+)
- Proven track record of bringing products from concept to production
