Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end electrical system design for high-performance robotics platforms
- Develop PCB schematics and layouts using Altium Designer for mixed-signal circuits
- Perform power electronics analysis and thermal management for battery systems
- Validate designs through simulation (SPICE, MATLAB) and prototype testing
- Collaborate with firmware teams on embedded system integration
- Mentor junior engineers and document technical specifications
- Ensure compliance with UL 62368-1 and IPC-2221 standards
Qualifications
- B.S. in Electrical Engineering with 5+ years of experience
- Expertise in power electronics and motor control systems
- Proficiency in Altium Designer and SPICE simulation tools
- Strong knowledge of EMC/EMI design principles
- Experience with high-voltage (48V+) battery management systems
- Proven track record in automotive or robotics applications
- Professional Engineering (PE) license preferred
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
