Responsibilities
- Design and validate power distribution systems for utility-scale solar installations
- Lead PCB layout and circuit analysis for high-efficiency inverters
- Develop control algorithms for smart grid communication protocols
- Perform electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) testing and compliance documentation
- Mentor junior engineers through design reviews and technical workshops
- Collaborate with mechanical teams on thermal management solutions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (Master's preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in power electronics or utility systems
- Proficiency with MATLAB/Simulink and PSpice simulation tools
- Expertise in IEC 61850 standards for smart grid communication
- Strong knowledge of UL 1741 and IEEE 1547 compliance requirements
- Experience with Altium Designer or Cadence Allegro
- Valid PE license or ability to obtain within 6 months
