Responsibilities
- Lead the design and management of complex site development projects, including grading, drainage, and utility infrastructure.
- Provide expert technical oversight and mentorship to a team of junior engineers and CAD technicians.
- Coordinate directly with municipal agencies to navigate the permitting process and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and client expectations to ensure seamless delivery of high-quality engineering solutions.
- Perform advanced hydrological and hydraulic modeling for storm water management systems.
- Represent the firm at public hearings, client meetings, and industry conferences.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution.
- Active Professional Engineer (P.E.) license in the state of Texas (or ability to obtain via reciprocity).
- Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive experience in land development or municipal engineering.
- Expert proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, HEC-RAS, and StormCAD.
- Proven track record of managing multi-disciplinary project teams and meeting tight deadlines.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical data for non-technical stakeholders.
