Responsibilities
- Design and validate high-voltage power distribution systems for aerospace applications
- Develop embedded firmware for real-time control systems using C/C++
- Perform electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) testing and compliance analysis
- Create detailed schematics and PCB layouts using Altium Designer
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct technical reviews
- Interface with FAA/EASA certification teams for regulatory compliance
- Optimize system performance through thermal and stress modeling
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years experience in aerospace or high-reliability electronics
- Proficiency with MATLAB/Simulink for system modeling
- Strong knowledge of DO-160 and MIL-STD-810 standards
- Experience with motor drive design and power electronics
- Expertise in signal integrity and PCB layout best practices
- Valid US passport or ability to obtain security clearance
