Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of high-voltage power electronics for renewable energy systems
- Perform detailed circuit analysis and simulation using SPICE and MATLAB/Simulink
- Optimize PCB layouts for thermal management and EMI compliance
- Collaborate with mechanical teams on enclosure design and thermal solutions
- Develop comprehensive testing protocols and validate system performance
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct design reviews
- Stay current with IEEE standards and industry best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (Master's preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in power electronics design
- Expertise in Altium Designer and AutoCAD Electrical
- Strong knowledge of three-phase systems and power conversion topologies
- Experience with embedded C firmware for control systems
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required
- Proven track record in bringing products from concept to production
