Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize PCB layouts for high-performance embedded systems
- Lead schematic capture and simulation using Altium Designer and Cadence tools
- Perform power analysis and thermal management for complex electronic assemblies
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct design reviews to maintain quality standards
- Collaborate with firmware teams to ensure seamless hardware-software integration
- Validate designs through rigorous testing protocols including EMI/EMC compliance
- Research and implement emerging technologies in power electronics and signal processing
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- 8+ years of experience in PCB design for consumer electronics
- Proficiency in Altium Designer, Cadence Allegro, and SPICE simulation tools
- Deep expertise in high-speed digital design and RF circuit analysis
- Strong understanding of IEEE 802.11, Bluetooth, and Zigbee protocols
- Certification in IPC-2221/IPC-2222 standards preferred
- Demonstrated success in bringing products from concept to production
- Experience with automated test equipment and signal integrity validation
