Responsibilities
- Lead the design and analysis of large-scale municipal infrastructure, including drainage, roadway, and utility systems.
- Manage project lifecycles from preliminary site assessment through final permit approval.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, including architects, environmental specialists, and local government agencies.
- Mentor junior engineering staff and provide technical oversight on complex project deliverables.
- Ensure all designs comply with regional safety standards, environmental regulations, and local codes.
- Facilitate client meetings, providing technical insights and progress reports to key stakeholders.
- Perform comprehensive quality control reviews on engineering drawings and construction documents.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (BSCE) required; Master’s degree preferred.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in the State of Texas is mandatory.
- Minimum of 6-8 years of experience in civil site design and land development.
- Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and HEC-RAS/HEC-HMS modeling.
- Proven track record of managing project budgets, timelines, and technical documentation.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to lead cross-functional project teams.
- Deep understanding of municipal codes and permitting processes in the greater Houston area.
