Responsibilities
- Design and optimize high-voltage power systems for renewable energy integration
- Lead PCB layout and schematic design for IoT-enabled monitoring devices
- Perform power quality analysis and electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) testing
- Develop firmware and embedded systems for smart grid controllers
- Validate designs through SPICE simulations and prototyping
- Ensure compliance with IEEE, UL, and IEC standards
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct technical reviews
- Collaborate with R&D on patentable innovations in energy storage
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (MS preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in power electronics or smart grid design
- Expertise in Altium Designer, Cadence Allegro, or similar EDA tools
- Strong background in 3-phase systems, transformers, and power conversion
- Proficiency in Python/MATLAB for simulation and data analysis
- Active PE license or ability to obtain within 6 months
- Experience with DOBLE or Megger testing equipment
- Proven track record of delivering complex projects on schedule
