Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end design of high-voltage power distribution systems for commercial and industrial applications
- Develop and optimize PCB layouts using Altium Designer for IoT sensor networks
- Perform electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) testing and compliance validation
- Collaborate with mechanical engineers on thermal management solutions for battery systems
- Mentor junior engineers through design reviews and technical documentation
- Research emerging power electronics technologies and propose implementation strategies
- Interface with clients to translate technical requirements into actionable engineering plans
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (Master's preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in power electronics or embedded systems design
- Proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink for system modeling and simulation
- Certification in NFPA 70E or equivalent electrical safety standards
- Strong background in renewable energy integration (solar/wind)
- Demonstrated success in leading hardware development from concept to production
- Expertise in ISO 13485 or IEC 62304 for medical device applications
