Responsibilities
- Design and validate electrical systems for high-voltage power distribution networks
- Lead PCB layout and component selection for IoT-enabled energy monitoring devices
- Perform electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) testing and compliance analysis
- Develop firmware interfaces for real-time power quality monitoring systems
- Mentor junior engineers through technical reviews and design workshops
- Collaborate with mechanical teams on thermal management solutions
- Prepare technical documentation and patent disclosures for novel inventions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (Master's preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in power electronics or grid infrastructure
- Proficiency in Altium Designer and MATLAB/Simulink
- Strong understanding of IEEE 1547 and UL 1741 standards
- Experience leading cross-functional engineering teams
- Published research in IEEE Transactions on Power Electronics
- Professional Engineer (PE) license
- Knowledge of Python for automation of test procedures
