Responsibilities
- Design and optimize electrical systems for solar inverters and energy storage solutions
- Lead PCB layout and schematic design using Altium Designer and Cadence
- Conduct power electronics simulations and validate prototypes through rigorous testing
- Develop compliance documentation for UL 1741 and IEEE standards
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct technical reviews of design packages
- Collaborate with firmware teams on embedded system integration
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in power electronics design
- Proficiency with SPICE simulation tools and MATLAB/Simulink
- Certification in power distribution systems or renewable energy technology
- Demonstrated success in bringing products from concept to production
- Strong analytical skills for troubleshooting complex electrical systems
- Experience with automotive or industrial safety standards (ISO 26262, IEC 61508)
