Responsibilities
- Design and oversee the development of electrical power distribution systems for large-scale commercial and industrial applications.
- Perform complex load calculations, short-circuit analysis, and protective device coordination studies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate renewable energy storage systems into existing grid infrastructure.
- Ensure all designs comply with NEC, IEEE, and local building code standards.
- Mentor junior engineers and lead technical design reviews to maintain project quality.
- Conduct site visits to perform inspections, troubleshoot electrical failures, and ensure installation compliance.
- Optimize system efficiency through rigorous modeling, simulation, and hardware validation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of 6+ years of professional experience in electrical design and power systems.
- Professional Engineer (PE) License strongly preferred.
- Proficiency in industry-standard software such as ETAP, SKM PowerTools, AutoCAD, or Revit MEP.
- Deep understanding of high-voltage switchgear, transformers, and UPS systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple high-stakes projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
