Responsibilities
- Lead design and validation of complex power electronics systems including inverters, converters, and energy storage solutions
- Develop PCB layouts using Altium Designer and perform SPICE simulations for circuit optimization
- Collaborate with mechanical engineers to integrate electrical components into product assemblies
- Conduct failure analysis and root cause investigations for field failures
- Mentor junior engineers and establish best practices for electrical design workflows
- Ensure compliance with UL 60950, IEC 62368, and industry safety standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering with 5+ years of experience in power electronics design
- Expertise in MATLAB/Simulink for system modeling and simulation
- Proficiency in Altium Designer and high-speed PCB layout techniques
- Strong understanding of three-phase power systems, EMI/EMC considerations, and thermal management
- Experience with embedded C firmware development for microcontroller-based systems
- Demonstrated success in bringing at least three products from prototype to production
- Certification in PE (Professional Engineer) or equivalent industry credentials preferred
