The Role
In this pivotal role, you will lead the design and development of complex electrical systems. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure our products meet the highest industry standards for safety, efficiency, and performance.
Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end design of electrical schematics and PCB layouts using industry-standard tools like Altium Designer and Eagle.
- Conduct detailed circuit simulations and analysis to validate design specifications before prototyping.
- Oversee the manufacturing process, including reviewing manufacturing files (Gerbers), DFM (Design for Manufacturability) checks, and collaborating with fabrication vendors.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance on complex engineering problems.
- Perform rigorous testing and debugging of prototypes in the lab, including signal integrity and power integrity analysis.
- Document all design activities, maintain detailed technical specifications, and participate in design reviews.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in PCB design, embedded systems, or power electronics.
- Proficiency in schematic capture and PCB layout tools (Altium, Cadence OrCAD, PADS).
- Strong understanding of analog and digital circuit design principles.
- Familiarity with microcontrollers (Arduino, STM32, Raspberry Pi) and embedded C/C++.
- Experience with scripting languages (Python or MATLAB) for data analysis is a plus.
- Ability to read and interpret complex technical drawings and schematics.
