Responsibilities
- Design and optimize high-voltage power distribution systems using AutoCAD and ETAP
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing grid-tied renewable energy solutions
- Perform power system analysis and fault studies for industrial applications
- Develop control systems for smart grid automation and SCADA integration
- Conduct EMC/EMI compliance testing for electrical equipment
- Mentor junior engineers on IEEE standards and safety protocols
- Collaborate with hardware teams on PCB layout and component selection
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (Master's preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in power systems or industrial electrical design
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required
- Expertise in MATLAB/Simulink for power system modeling
- Strong knowledge of NEC and IEEE 1547 standards
- Experience with renewable energy integration (solar/wind)
- Proven project leadership using Agile methodologies
- Certification in power system analysis (e.g., ETAP) preferred
