Responsibilities
- Lead design and development of high-voltage electrical systems for renewable energy integration
- Perform circuit analysis, simulations, and validation testing using industry-standard tools
- Collaborate with hardware teams on PCB layout and component selection for power electronics
- Develop comprehensive technical documentation including schematics, BOMs, and test procedures
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct design reviews to ensure quality standards
- Stay current with IEEE standards and emerging power electronics technologies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in power electronics or high-voltage systems design
- Proficiency in SPICE simulation tools and circuit design software (e.g., Altium, Cadence)
- Strong knowledge of EMC/EMI compliance testing and mitigation strategies
- Experience with renewable energy systems (solar, wind, or battery storage)
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain within 6 months
