Responsibilities
- Design and develop electrical systems for smart grid infrastructure and renewable energy integration
- Lead PCB layout and schematic capture for high-power electronics using Altium Designer
- Perform power analysis, thermal modeling, and EMI/EMC compliance testing
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct technical reviews of design documentation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of hardware and software
- Research and implement emerging technologies in power electronics and energy storage
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (Master's preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in power electronics design and high-voltage systems
- Proficiency in Altium Designer, MATLAB/Simulink, and SPICE simulation tools
- Strong understanding of IEEE standards and NEC regulations
- Experience with renewable energy systems and grid-tied inverters
- Proven track record of leading complex hardware projects from concept to production
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain within 6 months
