Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize complex electrical systems including PCBs, power electronics, and embedded control circuits
- Lead product lifecycle from prototyping to production, ensuring compliance with industry standards (UL, CE, IPC)
- Perform SPICE simulations, signal integrity analysis, and thermal modeling using MATLAB/ANSYS
- Collaborate with firmware teams on hardware-software integration for embedded Linux/RTOS platforms
- Document engineering processes including schematics, BOMs, test procedures, and DFM reports
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct technical reviews for design excellence
- Research emerging technologies (SiC/GaN, wireless power transfer) and implement innovative solutions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (MS/PhD preferred) with 7+ years of relevant experience
- Expertise in high-speed digital design, power electronics (buck/boost converters, inverters), and EMI/EMC mitigation
- Proficiency in Altium Designer, Cadence Allegro, and lab equipment (oscilloscopes, network analyzers)
- Strong background in embedded systems (ARM Cortex-M/R, PIC, FPGA) and C/C++ programming
- Experience with renewable energy systems (solar inverters, battery management systems) highly desirable
- Proven track record of delivering products through NPI (New Product Introduction) processes
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or active pursuit considered a significant advantage
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with attention to detail and quality focus
