Responsibilities
- Design and implement electrical systems for high-voltage power distribution networks
- Lead R&D projects on energy storage and smart grid infrastructure
- Perform power system analysis using ETAP/PSS®E software
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct technical reviews
- Ensure compliance with IEEE/NFPA standards and safety protocols
- Collaborate with hardware teams on PCB design and component selection
- Develop technical documentation and project specifications
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (Master's preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in power systems or utility infrastructure
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required
- Expertise in MATLAB/Simulink and power electronics simulation
- Strong knowledge of renewable energy integration (solar/wind)
- Experience with SCADA systems and protective relay coordination
- Proven project management with PMP certification a plus
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
