Responsibilities
- Design and optimize high-voltage power systems for solar/wind energy storage solutions
- Lead PCB layout and firmware development for smart grid communication modules
- Perform thermal and electromagnetic interference (EMI) simulations using ANSYS and MATLAB
- Mentor junior engineers through our structured talent development framework
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate IoT sensors into power distribution networks
- Drive compliance with IEEE 1547 and UL 1741 standards for grid-tied inverters
- Present technical roadmaps to executive stakeholders and venture capital partners
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in power electronics design (solar/wind focus)
- Proficiency in Altium Designer and Cadence Allegro for PCB layout
- Strong knowledge of three-phase inverter topologies and MPPT algorithms
- Certification in P.E. (Electrical) or equivalent professional designation
- Experience with battery management systems (BMS) and Li-ion chemistries
- Proven track record of reducing EMI emissions by 40%+ in product cycles
- Expertise in Python for automated test script development
