Responsibilities
- Lead design and implementation of high-voltage electrical systems for renewable energy projects
- Develop and optimize power distribution networks using CAD software and simulation tools
- Conduct rigorous testing and validation of electrical components and systems
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance on complex electrical challenges
- Ensure compliance with IEEE standards, NEC regulations, and safety protocols
- Collaborate with mechanical and software teams for integrated system solutions
- Present technical findings to stakeholders and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (Master's preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in power systems design or renewable energy projects
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required
- Expert proficiency in AutoCAD, ETAP, and MATLAB/Simulink
- Strong understanding of three-phase systems, transformers, and protective relaying
- Demonstrated experience with PLC programming and SCADA systems
- Proven track record of managing electrical projects from conception to completion
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in fast-paced environments
