Responsibilities
- Lead design and validation of high-voltage power electronics systems for utility-scale applications
- Develop PCB layouts and firmware for embedded control systems using Altium Designer and C++
- Conduct electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) testing and compliance analysis per IEC 61000 standards
- Mentor junior engineers through technical reviews and design optimization sessions
- Collaborate with R&D to prototype novel energy storage solutions
- Generate detailed technical documentation and safety compliance reports
- Interface with regulatory bodies for UL 1741 certification processes
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with 5+ years of experience in power electronics
- Expertise in MATLAB/Simulink for system modeling and control algorithm development
- Proficiency in SPICE simulation tools (LTspice, PSpice) for circuit validation
- Strong understanding of three-phase inverters, MPPT algorithms, and grid synchronization
- Certification in Power Electronics (e.g., PE) or relevant professional credentials
- Demonstrated experience with thermal management and reliability analysis
- Knowledge of international electrical codes (NEC, IEC, IEEE 1547)
- Excellent problem-solving skills with complex system integration challenges
