Responsibilities
- Design and develop advanced power electronics systems for solar inverters and energy storage solutions
- Lead PCB layout, component selection, and prototyping of high-efficiency power conversion circuits
- Perform comprehensive thermal, electromagnetic, and stress analysis using simulation tools
- Collaborate with firmware engineers to integrate hardware with embedded control systems
- Drive compliance with UL 1741, IEC 62109, and other industry safety standards
- Mentor junior engineers and optimize design workflows for rapid prototyping
- Present technical findings to stakeholders and contribute to patent development
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in power electronics design for renewable energy systems
- Proficiency in Altium Designer, Cadence Allegro, or equivalent EDA tools
- Expertise in MATLAB/Simulink for system modeling and simulation
- Demonstrated knowledge of EMC/EMI compliance testing and mitigation strategies
- Strong analytical skills with experience in thermal management and reliability analysis
- Experience leading cross-functional projects from concept to production
- Certification in Six Sigma or PMP is highly desirable
