Responsibilities
- Design and validate electrical schematics for utility-scale power systems
- Lead hardware integration of smart grid technologies and IoT devices
- Perform power system analysis using ETAP/PSS®E software
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct design reviews
- Ensure compliance with IEEE/NFPA standards and safety protocols
- Develop firmware for embedded control systems using C/C++
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (MS preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in power systems design
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required
- Expertise in MATLAB/Simulink and Altium Designer
- Strong knowledge of three-phase systems and power electronics
- Experience with SCADA systems and RTU programming
- Proven project management for large-scale installations
