Responsibilities
- Design and optimize high-voltage power electronics circuits for solar inverters and energy storage systems
- Lead PCB layout and validation using Altium Designer and Cadence tools
- Develop firmware for embedded control systems using C/C++ and MATLAB/Simulink
- Conduct EMC/EMI testing and compliance analysis for UL 1741 certification
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct technical reviews for design validation
- Collaborate with mechanical teams on thermal management solutions for power modules
- Document technical specifications and create patent disclosures for novel designs
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in power electronics design (solar/inverter focus a plus)
- Expertise in Altium Designer and Cadence Allegro for PCB layout
- Proficiency in embedded C/C++ and real-time operating systems
- Certification in EMC/EMI testing standards (IEC 61000-4 series)
- Strong analytical skills for solving complex circuit reliability issues
- Experience leading cross-functional technical projects from concept to production
- Knowledge of UL 1741, IEEE 1547, and NEC Article 705 standards
