Responsibilities
- Design and optimize electrical systems for commercial-scale renewable energy projects
- Lead hardware development for smart grid components and IoT-enabled monitoring systems
- Perform rigorous circuit analysis, simulation, and validation using MATLAB/Simulink
- Collaborate with mechanical teams on integrated system architecture
- Ensure compliance with IEEE, NEC, and international safety standards
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct technical reviews
- Research emerging power electronics technologies for patentable innovations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (MS preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in power electronics or grid infrastructure
- Expertise in Altium Designer, Cadence Allegro, or similar PCB tools
- Strong analytical skills with experience in electromagnetic field simulation
- Certification in PE (Professional Engineer) or equivalent
- Proven track record with 3-phase power systems and HVDC design
- Experience with ISO 9001 and project management methodologies
- Demonstrated ability to lead technical teams from concept to deployment
