Responsibilities
- Design and develop high-voltage electrical systems for industrial and commercial applications
- Lead project lifecycle management including schematic creation, component selection, and prototype validation
- Collaborate with mechanical and software teams to integrate electrical subsystems into complex products
- Ensure compliance with IEEE, NEC, and international electrical safety standards
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct design reviews to maintain technical excellence
- Analyze system performance data to optimize efficiency and reliability
- Prepare technical documentation and client presentations for stakeholder approval
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (Master's preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in power systems design and industrial automation
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, EPLAN, and simulation tools (e.g., MATLAB/Simulink)
- Strong knowledge of PLC programming and SCADA systems
- Certification in P.E. or similar professional accreditation
- Experience leading cross-functional engineering teams
- Proven track record of delivering complex electrical projects on schedule
